An anti racist, anti-corporate, anti-police brutality march took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Super Bowl Sunday. People of the twin cities voiced their concerns over public resources being used for an extravagant football celebration, instead of being used on the homeless and less fortunate.  Below is a video from our livestream of the march.  US Bank stadium has been a location of direct action in the past year, when climbers dropped a giant banner in the middle of the stadium calling for US Bank to divest from fossil fuels and projects like the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Once arriving at the stadium marchers then took a knee in honor of lives lost.  All in all, it was a very positive march minus a few drunk agitated football fans.  At one point a man in a patriots jersey attempted to grab a women taking a knee out front the stadium, march security was quickly able to deescalate the situation and the ceremony continued.
